Q and A

Q: How/When do I need to book a Newborn Session?

A: I recommend booking your newborn session while you are pregnant as my newborn
sessions are limited and I fill up fast. Ideally immediately after your 12 week scan as you
will then know your baby’s estimated due date. Newborn sessions take place when your
baby is approximately 9 days old.

Q: My baby has already been born. Can I still book a Newborn Session?

A: You can still book a newborn session if your baby has already been
born up to 4 weeks old. You will need to keep an open mind to what
images we will be able to capture with an older baby. Please contact
me so that we may discuss your newborn session.

Q: What if my baby is born early or late?

A: Newborn babies seldom arrive on their due date so I will make your
booking for your due date. As soon as baby is born, simply notify me
that your baby is here and I will schedule your newborn session for when
your baby is around 9 days old.

Q: How much does a Newborn Session cost?

A:  A £99 non-refundable retainer is required in order to secure your booking.
This is deducted from the purchase of a Portrait Collection.
This does not include any products. Packages can be found here
Payment can be made through this website using PayPal or over the phone using a credit/debit card.

Q: How long does a Newborn Session take?

A:  A newborn session lasts approximately four hours from 10:30 am – 2:30 pm
as a lot of time and patience is required to settle you baby to sleep and
move them into those beautiful curled up newborn poses that we all love so
much.

Q: Where does the Newborn Session take place?

A: A newborn session takes place in my home studio where it’s nice and
warm to keep your baby happy. My studio is located at:
1b, Battle Close, Lindholme, Doncaster DN7 6DA

Q: Can I bring my other children to a newborn session?

A: Family and sibling images take place at the beginning of a newborn
session. Afterwards Dad or a family member takes the siblings on a
special day out.

Q: Do I need to bring anything to a Newborn Session?

A: As Newborn Sessions last approximately four hours you will need to
bring extra diapers, a pacifier if you have one and if your baby is on
formula bring extra milk. Also don’t forget a snack to keep yourself going
during the session. Tea, coffee, soft drinks and biscuits are provided.
All the props that you see in my images are provided by me for your
newborn session…newborn outfits, wraps, hats, buckets and crates.

If there are any questions that I haven’t answered please feel free to contact
me. I would be happy to help.
